I am also using a messaging program called Remind101.com. This site allows me to send out text messages/emails to students and parents. Each student was given a sheet explaining how to register for remind 101.

Welcome to my class website.  This year I will be using a variety of social media and technology reasources to keep students and parents up to date on course information.
 
I graduated from Kennedale High School in 2000.  I attended the University of Texas at Arlington and recieved my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology in 2005.  I am married and have two wonderful children, Clay who is 11 and Caitlin who is 6.  This is my 5th year to teach at Kennedale.  I am also the Science Department Chair.
