Students in eighth grade advanced art were asked to design a poster promoting Safe City Tarrant County. the theme of the contest is "it's not okay". What is NOT ok is abuse- gangs, drug abuse, sexual abuse, cyberbullying,violence and hatred. Mrs. Cullum told students that they would NOT be allowed to draw people being hurt in ANY way, and that their message should leave the viewer feeling positive. Mrs. Cullum was very picky- and would not allow craftsmanship errors in any form. This was a source of much annoyance. Nevertheless, students persevered and came out with some AWESOME designs. I REALLY hope the judges think they are as great as I do!!! I AM SO PROUD OF MY KIDS!!!!
